Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all reservations with Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico (V&H Rental LLC) and is incorporated into our Terms and Conditions by reference.

Guest Cancellation

Guests may cancel their trip through our website or by email to rental@jeepadventurespr.com. Cancellations are effective immediately upon receipt.

Whether the guest receives a full refund or no refund depends on the circumstances. The total amount refunded depends on when the guest cancels the trip, the length of the trip, and the trip type.

All cancellation periods are based on the vehicle’s time zone: Atlantic Standard Time (AST), Puerto Rico.

Total Refund: Free Cancellation Period

A full refund is issued for cancellations made within the free cancellation period below.

Cancellations After the Free Cancellation Period

Guests who cancel after the free cancellation period stated above will be charged 100% of the trip price. No refund is issued, except where an exception under this policy applies.

Guest No-Show

It is considered a guest no-show if a guest fails to cancel and does not show up for the trip within two (2) hours of its scheduled start time.

It is also considered a guest no-show if a guest shows up to a trip:

• With no driver’s license;
• With an invalid or expired driver’s license; or
• Sending an additional driver in their place.

Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico will cancel guest no-show trips and will not provide any refund.

If you expect to arrive late, contact us before your scheduled start time. We can often accommodate a revised pickup time.

Exceptions

Exceptions to the guest refund amount, for cancellations outside the free cancellation period and for no-shows, may apply in the event of a flight delay, a flight cancellation, or a lost baggage issue.

Flight Delays or Flight Cancellations

If a guest’s flight is delayed or canceled, the guest must contact Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico to report the issue and to request a trip modification for a new start time.

If Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico cannot or does not accommodate a new start time and the trip must be canceled, Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico will issue the guest a full refund, provided documentation is supplied.

Requirements:

• Guests must notify Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico of the flight delay or cancellation at least one hour before the scheduled trip start time.
• Guests must notify Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico within 24 hours of the trip’s scheduled start time to be eligible under this policy.
• Guests must provide documentation, such as a screenshot from the airline’s mobile app or website, showing the flight issue.

If the guest’s flight is canceled or delayed more than three (3) days before the trip start time, this policy does not apply.

Lost Baggage Delays

If a guest experiences a lost baggage delay, Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico will issue the guest a full refund, provided the guest has contacted us and supplied documentation.

Requirements:

• Guests must notify Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico no later than 30 minutes after the scheduled trip start.
• Guests must notify Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico of the lost baggage delay within 24 hours.
• Guests must provide photo evidence of the baggage issue.

Delayed Flights With Airport Pickup

If your flight is delayed and you still intend to collect the Vehicle at Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU), notify us as soon as possible. Email rental@jeepadventurespr.com or send a text message to 939-545-8870 including:

• Your order number; and
• Your estimated time of arrival in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

We will coordinate delivery around your revised arrival time. This is separate from a cancellation request.

Early Returns

If the guest returns the Vehicle before the time stated in the original rental agreement, Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico will not refund any part of the total rental amount.

The security deposit hold is released normally, provided the Vehicle is returned in accordance with our vehicle return policies and subject to final inspection.

Jeep Adventures Puerto Rico reserves the option to charge a fee for an early recovery of the Vehicle. The cost of the rental is calculated based on the number of days and on the place and time of recovery.

Changes and Upgrades

To modify or upgrade a reservation, contact us by phone or text at 939-545-8870 or by email at rental@jeepadventurespr.com. Modifications are subject to availability and to any applicable difference in rate.
